At iFix Roofing Geelong, we stand behind our workmanship, materials, and practical roof performance. Every project is unique, which is why our warranty details are directly connected to the actual work performed, the specific products used, and the scope outlined in your contract.
We believe a roofing warranty should be clear, realistic, and honest. It is a commitment that our workmanship is completed to professional industry standards and that the premium products we install—such as Australian-made BlueScope and Colorbond® steel—are fully backed by manufacturer guarantees.

Core Warranty Terms & Conditions
Our workmanship and material guarantees are subject to the following standard conditions:
1. Material Performance
We guarantee that all premium materials applied or installed during our works:

Will not crack, peel, or flake.

Will not separate from the substrate on which they are applied.
-
Will not substantially change in colour.
2. Pre-Existing vs. Future Leaks

What is Covered: Pre-existing leaks that we are contracted to repair as part of the original work order will remain waterproof. If they reoccur within your warranty period, they will be repaired completely free of charge.

What is Not Covered: Future leaks (other than the recurrence of the pre-existing leaks we were hired to fix), leaks we were not made aware of at the time of completing the work, or leaks originating from old, untreated surrounding roof areas are not covered.
3. Client Maintenance & Debris
This warranty does not cover the breakdown of materials due to dirt build-up, organic matter, or debris. It is the client’s responsibility to keep all roof surfaces, valleys, and gutters clear of leaves, branches, and soil.
4. Transferability to New Homeowners
Selling your property? This warranty is fully transferable to any future owner of the property. To maintain coverage, iFix Roofing must be notified in writing by the title transferee within 90 days of the property title transfer.
What is Not Covered (Exclusions)
No roofing warranty can cover damage caused by external factors outside of our direct control. Our guarantees do not cover:

Natural storm events, severe weather, or lightning strikes.

Falling tree branches or subsequent trade damage (e.g., solar installers, air conditioning technicians).

Structural movement of the building or foundation settling.

Lack of regular maintenance or heavy foot traffic on the roof by third parties.
How We Assess Warranty Claims in Geelong
We take warranty claims seriously. If you experience an issue, our South Geelong team will conduct a thorough on-site inspection. Because water can travel far from its actual entry point, we assess the entire roof system—including the pitch, sheets or tiles, penetrations, flashings, ridge lines, and gutters—to accurately trace the root cause and resolve it promptly.
